3 Feb 2007 - March and rally in support of Whipps Cross University Hospital
Local people are being urged to take part in a march and rally over the future of Whipps Cross University Hospital on Saturday, February 3.
The march will start at 12 noon outside the hospital (Forest View Avenue], and end at Walthamstow Town Square, where the rally will be held at 1.30pm
The event has been organised by Unison, the health service union, as part of the campaign to save Whipps Cross as a fully funded district general hospital. The campaign is supported by local MPs and councillors, the local newspaper, and many residents, including FORA members
