25 Jan 2007 - Public meeting called against local gallery and museum cuts

A public meeting is being held on Thursday, January 25, to protest at Waltham Forest Council plans to cut services and hours of opening at the William Morris Gallery and Vestry House Museum.

It has been called by the Friends of William Morris Gallery and is supported by Waltham Forest Civic Society and local history societies.

The meeting is at 7.30pm at Greenleaf Baptist Church,Greenleaf Road,Walthamstow
