A FORA member, Trevor Goodchild, will be giving a screen-show and talk on the glories of Venice and its future at St Andrew's Church and Hall on Thursday, January 15, at 8pm.
He has an MA in Italian Studies and a deep affection for Italy. He is especially interested in the history and architecture of Venice.
Enjoy a glass of Italian wine (donated) and meet FORA members who live near you.
The Venice Carnival 2007 starts on Friday 9 February and lasts until 20 February.It would be a dream for many of us to be there. We can at least see some of the glories of the fabulous city on water just by taking a short walk to St Andrew's on 15 February.
