Newlon Housing Trust has bought
the site of St Andrews old church hall from Waltham Forest Council. Following opposition from residents last year, the Council's application to build flats on it was turned down. It's understood Newlon -- a charitable housing association based in Hackney -- have a smaller scheme in mind. No planning application has yet been made.
