4 Dec 2006 - Daffodil planters dig deep again
For the third year running, local people have planted hundreds of daffodil bulbs at Whipps Cross roundabout.
Their eventual aim is to see all of the area on and near the roundabout carpeted by flowers every year in the Spring.
The bulbs have been supplied by Waltham Forest council.
Some 10 members of FORA and Waltham Forest Civic Society turned up for this year's planting, on Sunday 3 December.
More than half the targetted area has so far been planted with bulbs.
