Forest Residents Association was launched on April 27 2006 at an inaugural meeting in St Andrews Church hall, attended by more than 140 people. Our aims and objectives are:

  • To encourage a community spirit and promote co-operation among members on matters of common interest
  • To protect and improve the natural and built environment in and around our area
  • To protect and improve the general amenities, welfare, and environmental and communal rights of all members

We hope to achieve these by:

  • Arranging  social and other events to bring members together
  • Keeping members informed of local developments
  • Acting on behalf of members when needed
  • Fostering links with local groups and official bodies
  • Involving them in measures directed towards the conservation and improvement of the area

FORA is run by an elected Commitee in accordance with the FORA Constitution.

We're always on the look out for new members, so if you live in our area then why not join us.

If you would like to join FORA, then please complete a membership form and return it with the appropriate subscription (£10 per household or £5 per household concessionary rate) to Wendy Gordon, Membership Secretary, 145 Colworth Road - or to your nearest Committee member. Pro-rata rates apply after 1st September each year.
